Casino interiors intentionally affect customer's behavior. Elements like low lighting, maze-like carpeting and wall paper, and lack of windows, contribute to the whirlwind and dizzying effect of gambling, drinking and winning.
This feature, dual-published in Fox News Health and Entertainment, was a four page story on why we gamble - psychologically, emotionally and socially.
Each section was branded with a suit: club, spade, heart, diamond. The animated deck of neon cards in the top left corner was the main navigation. I chose a light aqua text color for a black background to create a slight buzz to the eyes, without hindering legibility.
